The Baker Behind the Bread
Hi! I’m Evie!
When I started baking with sourdough in February 2024, I had no idea I would cherish this ancient way of preparing bread and other baked goods. Nor did I consider turning it into an official business, but once I started baking for others and realized people from various walks of life were enjoying my homemade baked goods it ignited a fire in me that I didn’t realize was there!
I’m exceedingly grateful for the amazing online community of fellow sourdough bakers, the excitement of testing out new recipes, and the opportunity to serve my community with real food made from healthy ingredients (including farm-fresh eggs from our pasture-raised hens that are fed organic, non-GMO, no soy/corn feed).
But most of all, I’m grateful for my Savior guiding me to this place in my life where I can slow down to homeschool my teenage son, manage a 5-acre farm, and enjoy every moment of the bread-making process while meditating on Yah’s word.
